Lindisfarne is a cycle of songs (with & without words) written for a number of performances at the Holy Island Festival. The music reflects the landscape, history and culture of the area, taking influence from folk music, song forms and classical minimalism. From The Leiden Riddle, which is one of the earliest written examples of the Northumbrian dialect, to Whin Sill which is a musical reflection on the tabular layer of rock spanning the Pennines and forming the outcrop upon which Lindisfarne Castle sits, this collection is a personal meditation on the richness of history, nature and spiritual tranquility found on Holy Island.
Christian Forshaw - Saxophones, Clarinets, Keyboards, Percussion
Grace Davidson - Vocals
Full Album Released: November 7, 2025
Formats: Vinyl, CD, High-res Digital (24-bit/96kHz), Dolby Atmos
